after I had a little scare with my computer.
Now I have about 95% of my photos backed up. I’ll continue this week until this is complete.

I heard a really good tip yesterday. When using DVDs or CDs to back up photos, you should make two – one to pull pictures from and an “original” just in case the one you pull from gets scratched. If said disc gets scratched you can then copy the original and always keep a spare in reserve.
Have I begun this process yet? That would be negative. Still no progress other than having a bit more information to think about. sigh

I’d really hate to lose my photos because I didn’t back them up.
I know this is easy, I just need to sit down and do it. I already have blank DVD-Rs so this shouldn’t be difficult at all. I’d just like to arrange them so they make sense and I know where they all are. I should be able to accomplish this in a matter of hours. Then I can also remove some from my hard drive and free up some space from my computer!
Then my goal will be to continue staying on top of backing everything up. :)
I actually backed up most of my photos! Hooray for Yahoo Photos and CD-Rs. Everyone should do this so as not to lose any photos, as I’ve done in the past.
