give away 30 things i don't need

So, this is my third post on this, and I’ve done it three times now. I want to do these at least three more times before 9/1/09, so basically once a month. I’m aiming for bigger items now as well. Wish me luck.

i have alot of things i dont need so i will try to give away 30 things so my room will have more space and i dont have to keep things in my room that i never use!

Whether when we move back to MN, or even as I start to declutter our apartment. It would be great to donate the 30 items…this will be an easy one since I have SOOOOOOOOO much stuff!

Update on 4/19/09…I have done this twice already, but still want to at least eight more times for a total of 300 things! I really do have a lot of things and I’ve been giving away all kinds of things. I know my husband has been appreciating it as well. It helps with my “live simple” goal as well! So, if I’ve done it twice by now, I should be able to to get another four rounds by the end of July 2009, I’ll update and try to keep a running list as well for my next entry.

Sunday while at my dad’s I found out his chair side lamp was messed up. So I offered him one that we’ve had as a spare for a couple months now. Since buying a new one for the living room the old one has just been sitting off in the corner of the bedroom. Perfect opportunity to get rid of item number 2! Bingo!!! So this evening I am taking that lamp to my dad. Item number 2 down! 28 to go!

I gave away 4 bags of clothing.. I’m sure there was at least 30 items if not more but I didn’t count. When I clean out my basement there will probably be 30 more things.. I encourage everyone to do this!!

I brought the jewelry box into work this morning and asked a coworker if she or her granddaughter could use it. It really is still like brand new. I had only used it for a little while before inheriting my mother’s jewelry armour.

All the same, that’s ONE down and twenty-nine to go.

I dug it out of the back room today and plan on taking it to work with me tomorrow. I plan to give it to the first taker—someone that can give it a better, more useful home.

Hopefully this will be my first item down!

I HAVE STORAGE SPACES FILLED WITH EVERYTHING IN MULTIPLE STATES HELP. I TOTALLY NEED TO GET A HANDLE ON MY STUFF GIVE IT AWAY. USUALLY I DO THIS WHEN I MOVE BUT SOMEHOW I STILL HAVE THESE MAMOTH STORAGE SPACES AND I JUST DON’T GET IT NO NO NO I DO HAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAAAA! I AM NOT SURE WHAT’S IN THEM BUT AT THE TIME I AM CONVINCED I CAN’T LIVE WITH OUT SUCH THINGS SO I PUT THEM IN AND LOCK THEM UP. AND PAY!!!! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$...... WHAT THE! RIGHT. WELL. I NEED TO DEAL WITH UP HERE AND MAKE MY WAY TO MIAMI BEFORE THE SUMMER IS UP AND GET RID OF THAT STORAGE SPACE AND BACK UP HERE AND JUST FIG OUT WHAT THE F*@K I AM DOING…..
