How to pass IELTS by lady_farah

"IELTS is an easy test IF you were well prepared."

How I did it:
The first thing that you must care about is your language, to make it better read any English text and illustrate any vocabulary you are not familiar with (try to memories them and use them frequently).   

 Secondly study for 4 weeks before the exam, in each week study for 9 hours.
(9 hours reading, 9 hours writing, 9 hours listening, 9 hours to practice overall)
For speaking you have to listen to English conversations or dialogs than practice in front of the mirror or with any collogue.    

Listing:  It's an easy part you have only to focus and catch up, the more exercises you do the more ability you'll get to pass the listening part easily.  

Writing: things you must have as a writer are knowledge, vocabulary and writing skills.

  • Read so you are informed.
  • Read so you possess a great vocabulary collection.
  • Read so you can point up different writing skills.
Then practice more than once on different topics.

Reading: reading maybe the hardest part you have to focus on the text you are reading and read it quickly at the same time. My teacher advised me to read the first two lines form a paragraph and try to understand what's going on. Also read the question first so you know what you have to focus on.  

Speaking: As I said just make it part of your life. Try to use English sentences in your normal talking, be comfortable and realistic at the time of the speaking test.   

That's it, if I have any more advices I'll provide you with them.

    Got results today. The appeared to be unexpectedly high; I’d even say beyond my most daring hopes.
    L8.0/R7.5/W7.0/S7.5; Overall-7.5
    Wow!

    And I did not even dare to dream about getting 6, ha-ha)) It’s SO cool – I can apply for a Master’s course in Australian university, I can apply for a permanent resident Visa, etc. This surprising result is sufficient.

    But I still feel utter weakness of my English and need for constant and intensive improvement.

    My first IELTS 3 months ago

    Taking the test in 2 weeks (on Sep, 5th). Why oh why I haven’t started preparing 4-5 months ago?
    Anyway, I have 2 full weeks, a collection of smart books and an enormous enthusiasm.
    And if – just if – I do not get the score I need, it would be a splendid excuse to spent a couple of months in Malta learning English in one of their language centers.

    Once again, it’s just a subtask to achieve a big, shining, exciting goal: to study in Australia and to move there afterwards.
    I’m sitting the test on September, 5th, and I have to learn soooo much to prepare.
    My goal is 6.5 – 7, but I really, really, really have to stop procrastinating and start studying hard to get even 6.
