become A+ certified

I realized it wasn’t a part of my longterm goals.

I am new to the field of Computer Technology and I work in my school’s helpdeks fixing computers. I want to expand my knowledge of technology by becoming A+ certified!

I’m getting the big ole certification kit with flashcards and 8 example tests for the new standards today. Passing this sucker means I get $7/hr added to my wages which is pretty awesome. I’m hoping to do it before the end of the month, ‘cause I know all about the OS and customer service from working in tech support, just need to learn hardware. I think it’s do-able. Wish me luck!

I’m actually planning to get A+ certified under the new testing requirements, so I’m really planning on become an IT technician with A+ certification.

I’ve actually bought the materials that are relative to the new testing scheme. So now, I’m studying the pertinent chapters for the Essentials and the 220-604 test. I’ve yet to buy a voucher for either tests…

Passed my A+ OS test. it was ok….. had few scary questions….. the main problem I had was lack of time. There was 100 questions for 90 mins. Anyway, Its over now. Waiting for my certificates and other things….....

I’m currently studying for this exam and have passed about halfway through the VTC video(More like powerpoint in video format) material. The exam’s not cheap though: at $153 per exam at two Exams(Hardware and Softwware), that’s enough to convince me to hold off until COMPtia integrates the two into one test in September.

Hey…. guess what…. I passed the Hardware exam. Sitting for the Software exam next week….... This should be an easier one… i think…....

Yeah… doing good….. sitting for the Hardware exam on 6th of February and the Software xam on 10th Feb. It takes a lot less time to prepare myself than SCJP…

I am going to sit for the exam before March comes….. I know I have to try my best….. I am working on SCJP as well…. will be in hell soon….....
