Find the right church and go regulary

Their community outreach program is called “Sweet Honey from The Rock” and located in a notorious drug area, so I haven’t been to a service, but….

I’ve been thinking for a few years now.

It is really something that hasn’t been easy for me to do, though. I pray frequently, feel comfortable with my level of religiousness, but really don’t even know what I’m looking for in a church. I haven’t been regularly for quite a few years and really need to start making an effort to attend different churches in order to actually find a church. This is a good goal, though, and exactly the title I had in mind.

I’ve been asking around for a long time, preachers, students, and basically anyone willing to talk to me about their church(whatever religion it might be). Say, I might try to visit 20 or 25 churches this year, as a sub-goal of this goal(I hate listing so many goals). I want to take good notes and make at least one friend at each place(or go with a friend). It can be a mosque, a church, a synagogue or any other place of worship and I must act as reverently as possible without jeapordizing my own religious tenets.
This sub-goal has been in my head for about 7 years now, but never comes to bear. Listing it here is an effort to remain conscious of the pursuit. Maybe I won’t be so worried about feeling unorganized, if I can check this one off ;-)
