yikes!  — 1 year ago

due to a yucky divorce i was left with an expensive car (and I didn’t even have a license yet…long story)so I traded down and got a more affordable car. I never drove it for 3 years and now I finally have my license. I have been driving it for about 10 months and realized that my check engine light was on. I found out that I need to replace am O2 sensor which is not big deal really, but I realized that I have never had any maintenance done at all…no oil change, no nothing. This is not good… I am normally not like this. So I really need to get on track. Taking my car for its first oil change this weekend…woo-hoo!

Worth the $ in the long run!  — 2 years ago

Worth doing!

It’s hard to remember to do sometimes, but worth the $ in the long run! Your car/truck/suv will run longer, and more efficiantly if you follow the schedule. When I traded my car in for a minivan, the dealer said my car was in excellent condition and I got a wonderful deal!

Ouch!  — 2 years ago

Worth doing!

$500+ for the 30,000 mile scheduled maintenance. Gulp. I made a commitment to take good care of this car, so I bit the bullet and told them to go ahead. But next time I am bringing it somewhere else instead of the dealership.

I want it to last  — 3 years ago

Worth doing!

I just got a 2002 Toyota Echo (with only 20,000 miles on it!). It looks like new and I really want to take better care of it than I did my last car. I want it to look and run great for 10 years or more.
