create and stick to a budget

alright…i have some payment arrangements for the next 2 months that is going to knock off around $3,000. WHOA. i can’t believe that. that’s a lot of money. i’m so happy…freedom is so close! along with that – the next few months are going to be pretty tight. i’ve done a great job with not going out with friends or out to dinner, etc. but, i know the holidays are going to make it extrememly tough. i’m trying to find a second job to make this easier and so i can start saving some money. it’s proving to be difficult. i’m looking for a serving position for the evenings and weekends, but i’ve been out of the food industry business for a few years and have no fine dining experience – which seems to scare off some restaurants. hopefully something will become available to me very soon.

I have an old monthly budget sheet that I created in 2007 for 2008. I will use this as my main guideline in creating my new budget sheets. Creating it is the easy part, now I just have to STICK TO IT!

I am going to sit down and write out a budget, make a place for my bills, have specific dates I sit down to pay the bills, and not touch my savings account.

i have a little notebook that i am using to keep track of where every penny goes. it’s hard to do, but i know i need to see this.

i’m opening all my bills that i’ve put in a bin for months. i’m just going to face it.

ate out today for lunch… bummer

only spent $5 bc i bought a kid’s meal! bonus!

paid all my non-negotiables for the month first.

not too hard to create the budget…that isn’t really a good thing! the key will be sticking with it. it’s definitely going to be a tight few years. hopefully i will be able to balance the budget and plan for the future without going nuts!

i get paid on Wednesday & have to watch my money very carefully. i’m buying a car this week & i am taking a vacation out of the country in two weeks. that’s a lot of money. whew. i know i can do this. priorities…

i’m so fucking sick & tired of being broke all the time!

i need a new car or get my car fixed…i think i have $6 to my name right now? how is that possible?

i am in debt & have no savings. why do i put myself in this situation? it’s so stressful.

i am going to track all my spending until i get into the habit of spending wisely.
