rockapologist is back in Eugene, dreaming of bigger things
Seeing Ric Flair’s last match was amazing. The Hall of Fame was really moving, too. Such a great weekend.
How I did it: I bought tickets for my fiance for his birthday last year because he is a huge wrestling fan. So I baked him a cake and put Shawn Michaels figurine on it and put the tickets in his hand.. For the first time I had ever known him, he was speechless:-). We had a blast and are going back for WM 25 in Texas. Met people from all over the world and was there for the history making Ric Flair retirement match.
Lessons & tips: Arrive early. Have cash on ya, the beer can get pretty expensive if you drink alot. If you want shirts and stuff by them before because the lines for this are terrible. Enjoy being able to talk because once you start yelling and screaming your gonna be hoarse.

I can’t really explain it other than it’s pretty intense and definitely worth going.
i went to Wrestlemania 23 in Detroit with 80,103 people. crazy
I went to WM in Chicago last year…. It’s awesome and I suggest that everyone should go =)
I saw Hulk Hogan regain the WWF World title from that patriot-turned-traitor, Sgt. Slaughter
while Ultimate Warrior beat Randy Savage in the match of the night.
Also, I saw Triple H retain the title vs. The Rock, Big Show and Mick Foley
while The Hardys, Edge & Christian and The Dudleys battle in an epic Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. E&C came out on top.
Good times, scripted or not.
