I forgot to update that I did complete this goal on my first attempt! It was a bit of a challenge, especially since I had to attend my sister’s birthday party where hotdogs and hamburgers were being served.. so tempting… but I stuck to my guns and told myself I’d be proud of myself afterwards. And I was! Now I’m going to attempt to be vegetarian for a month.

How I did it: I've been a vegetarian for four years. I got vegetarian starter packs from peta2 and researched it a lot. I even convince 3 of my friends to go veg. Together we've lost about the same weight as a person, that's a lot of weight. I feel better and am so much happier. Read how I did it…

Oh man, I had never had eggplant until today! AMAZING. AND I had never had hummus. This vegetarianism is opening new doors. I am going to search some vegetarian recipes online, as well. I am very excited. :]

There were a few times when I wanted something with meat in it, but I persevered. I’m going to stay a vegetarian because I think I’m eating healthier and my meals are more diverse.

I just decided this morning that I would do it this week. I usually default on chicken sandwiches if nothing looks appealing. I think this is going to make me add diversity to my diet. It should be fun. I might keep track of what I eat to see if I’m getting enough nutrients and protein.
I’m going to see if I can actually do this. It will be an ordeal, but I think I can…
