How to read A Clockwork Orange
It made me
moderately happy
 "Excellent book, though I would recommend reading the book and then watching the movie rather than the other way around."
How I did it: I found a copy and started reading it in my spare time. It would have been nicer to have read it a bit slower than I did but I have been impatient lately. A Clockwork Orange is certainly a good book to make you think about the nature of morality, maturity and decision-making as well as human nature, though there are better ones. The ending was a bit miserable but it was good overall. |

How I did it: I just went to the library and checked it out. At first the slang made my head spin, but after the first chapter or so, I started to understand it . By the end of the book I didn't even notice it. It was such a great book - I couldn't put it down. Read how I did it…

I really want to read this book because i have heard other people talking about it and it sounds like a good nail-biting read.

I’m a huge fan of the movie, and I heard the novel is even better. Goes into much more details and shows us some more development in Alex’s character.

I have seen the film, which was quite good, and not just because the lead was hot, but the book was amzing, and quite different when you get past trying to decipher the nadsat!

I’ve heard this is a challenging book. I’ve thought about reading it for a long time and added it as a goal to push me to get to it.

Nadsat got stuck in my head for a bit :/ An ok book. Not the best ever but I appreciate literature that aims to challenge.
