I’m slowly working my way through this. I’ve decided to attempt reading a book for 30 minutes every night before bed. That way, I can unwind and work on the goal at the same time. Wish me luck!

by Alison Wright

5) Queen of the Road: The True Tale of 47 States, 22,000 Miles, 200 Shoes, 2 Cats, 1 Poodle, a Husband, and a Bus with a Will of Its Own

Okay, I’ve decided that I’m giving up trying to read all the things I think I have to read. Life is too short. Instead, I’ll just read what I want.
So, new list:
1. The Autobiography of Malcolm X
2. No god but God, Reza Aslan
3. Zeitoun, Dave Eggers
4. Acts of Faith, Eboo Patel
5. Innocent when You Dream: The Tom Waits Reader
6. Feminist Theory: From Margin to Center, bell hooks
7. East of Eden, John Steinbeck
That’s the start of it anyway. I know there’s many more novels I want to add, but I can’t think of them right now. I also want to read more about writing and about human rights issues.

But started another. I am now reading My Latest Grievance By Elinor Lipman. It’s good so far!

I finished reading the first book in the Sookie Stackhouse series and I am taking a break from that to read Dear American Airlines By Jonathan Miles. It’s off to a slow start but I won’t give up that easily!

American Wife was a spectacular book. I really enjoyed it. My next book is the first in the Sookie Stackhouse series, Dead until Dark by Charlaine Harris.

American Wife is a great book so far. Curtis Sittenfeld never lets me down :) I can’t wait to see how it ends and to start another book on the list!

I just finished I Know This Much Is True By Wally Lamb. I would recommend this book to anyone. It was a long book but so worth the read.
