design a sticker and stick it all over the city

I orded some DHL labels. They sound better than USPS. I pick up my USPS ones tomorrow. I’ve got some designs ready and I’ll geet started on Monday or Tuesday. I’m pretty busy with school until then.

I started working on my first design earlier this week. I planned on coloring it in Photoshop and printing it on sticker paper, but my limited skills with the program made it look like crap. So I just ordered 500 mailing labels and I will be doing them by hand for the time being.

I’ve been thinking about this for some days now… I’m too old to start with grafitti (and it’s a bit scary :P) I’m surfing the web for sticker art right now, and I’m making some cute drawings.

I had a great time…walked for over 1 hour to stick them all, because I was afraid of being caught or something, and it was hard not being seen…especially because I took pictures of everything later

I feel like I left my mark at the city! Something new for people to discover in their everyday walk… ;)

I finally made those stickers… :D
They have absolutely nothing to do with my first idea, but at least they’re finished. Tomorrow I’ll look for places to stick them up and I’ll take lots of pictures by next weekend, when there are less people on the streets to think I’m crazy.

So, I finally had an idea for my sticker \o/

My point is…who never thought there’d be a world we can’t see behind mirrors?

My idea is that perhaps that could happen with walls too….and I’d place windows to these worlds. Through them, you could see some landscapes or characters. I made a quick sketch (very, very quick…it is damn ugly, actually…I promise it’ll look better at the final stage), just to materialize and take it out of my head.

I have a feel this isn’t new at all, there must be lots of Narnia-like ideas over there. But I’m happy because that’s the kind of thing I’d like to say to the world.
