How I did it: Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary (better), Brisbane, QLD
Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo, Beerwah, QLD
Despite the Irwin facility being top notch, we had a far better experience at the Lone Pine Sanctuary. Perhaps, it is because you'll never have that first time again and we had just arrived in Australia. The animals seemed to engage more and we just had a better time; however, I am sure that has a lot to do with a whole lot of other factors.
Lessons & tips: Follow instructions carefully =)
