ride my bike at least once a week

I even used my bike to pick up my car from the repair shop a few weeks ago :)

This weekend though, my careless landlord left a big old water heater in front of my storage unit. So no biking for me despite the lovely cool weather…

But at least I got to water-ski all weekend!

It was a great evening to get started on this goal. Mid-60s, sun shining, spring trees still flowering, children romping in their yards… I rode for a half hour or so. One concern: My tires might not be holding air. They shouldn’t be that squishy after only two half-hour rides.

On a whim, I asked for and received a bike from my parents last Christmas! It’s still delightful at age 23 :)

The weather has only now gotten nice enough to enjoy being outside. Now I need to get in the habit of using my new toy!

A related mini-goal: Figure out how to rig up my secondhand bike rack to my car trunk.

I think riding my bike is great fun but cause my bro’s bike has broken and is in repair so he keeps nicking mine and never gives it back. He uses it all the time! I really want to ride my bike more often but i also have loads of homework to do and its really annoying and i so want to get fitter

I’m so pleased I advertised on Freecycle for a bike and got one. For the price of two tyres and inner tubes, I have a wonderful machine that is perfect for certain short-ish journeys.

I’ll continue to use it as and when it’s convenient.

The driveway and car park are being resurfaced at work, so I’m riding in all week. Very pleasant in this nice summer weather.

It’s quite fun with everyone complaining about how far away they have to park when I can ride right up to the front door :)

Quick ride to the post office last night – enjoyed it so much I came back home the long way.

There was something interesting going on at a new housing block they’re building with police creeping round the back and shouts inside – I would never have noticed that if I’d been in the car!

I didn’t ride it last week. That’s because the weather was miserable.

I did, however, walk several places where I might have used my bike otherwise so it’s not like I was being lazy!

I don’t think I need to set myself this goal – I’ve used it at least three times this week already.
