i read a good quote once. dont know who said it… “we have figured out everything, but how to live.”
i just want for once to just fuckin live, just be fuckin alive. i mean, dont get me wrong, i’ve traveled, i’ve seen great sights, and all that bullshit. But theres something more. I’ve felt it, just for a moment i felt it…its how the native americans used to live, and i got so much respect for them, and so much sorrow too. Geronimo said, when he surrendered, “once i moved about like the wind, now i surrender.” the feeling i got has stuck with me ever since i heard that in the movie Geronimo: American Legend. (he really said that, it wasnt just in the movie).
It seems like nowdays we have trapped ourselves, and eachother, in these invisible prison gates, and it makes no sense. I think we as humans use about 1% of our ability. We are able to live so much easier and better with todays technology, and, if we spend the time to understand, yesterdays spirituality and wisdom, to live so much easier and more freely. all we gotta do is collectively realize that we are living wrong, then as a people, we can turn things around and for once realize that we are actually alive, and just how cool that is. if not as a people, i’m at least gonna do it by myself. anyone who cares to join, is more than welcome
