Is all you need to keep with this. I’ve been good and even better since I recently moved. I can proudly say that I can cross this thing off my list! Hooraah!

Totally worth it!!! You’ll feel so much lighter just by getting rid of stuff you don’t need, or use.
I got rid of a ton of stuff that I don’t use and that doesn’t have emotional significance… But my life is just as cluttered and I don’t feel any better. It was just… whatever. At lease I have a bit more closet space now.
I got rid of another bag and 6 shoeboxes full of junk. Oh yeah, and my childhood jewelry box and a ton of dolls that have been in my closet for years. I still feel like I have too much stuff though. I don’t know what to do with it all!
The big move prompted a better use of space. So everything’s being slimmed down. There’s still a lot of crap I guess, but it’s very sentimental crap. Tickets from train journeys, cards from restaurants, and so. So that’s all staying in… well… I’ve nowhere to put that stuff… Er…. Okay, a new goal of buying and filling photo albums.

I went through every item I owned and if it didnot fit, have a use, have senamental value, or monitary value…it got sent to the good will or given away.
Seems to be a continual thing, six months later I am doing it again, lol.
Today I’m going to get rid of the clothes that I don’t wear. Hopefully I can part with some other things too, my life is just too cluttered.
i donated 2 large bags and a large box of clothes to goodwill last week. and i dropped off 5 boxes and 2 carrying cases to a women’s center today. there’s still lots of stuff in my living room but it just FEELS lighter :) most of the other stuff is my parent’s which i promised i’d try to sell & give them whatever $ is made so i have an excuse for a bit at least.

Today I spent the majority of my day doing some major pre-spring cleaning. I got down on all fours and scrubbed the crap out of my bathroom and kitchen floors. It was long overdue and very therapeutic. I went through all of the hidden boxes (2 really) that I had in my closet/bedroom and was able to consolidate everything into the storage containers under my bed. It feels really good to let go of all of these things that are only cluttering my apartment. Everything is ready for either Mr. Trashman or Mr. Shredder.

This last weekend my friend and I went through my entire closet and pulled out all of the clothes that I just don’t wear anymore or that I’ve been hanging on to thinking that one day I will fit into them again. Time to be realistic! I took all of it to Buffalo Exchange and what they didn’t take I donated! I think half of my closet is now free! I’m really proud of myself that I stayed strong and got rid of the pieces that I’ve been hanging on to for years.
