continue learning Wing Chun Kung Fu

I am learning wing chun at Grandmaster Jim Fung’s school on the Gold Coast. One day I hope to become an instructor like many of the girls here! It is so rewarding to learn Wing Chun.

I have continued and continue to um.. continue learning Wing Chun under SiFu Allan Lee (www.wingchunnyc.com) and I am about a year and a half in. Its frustrating at times but I think this is my favorite thing that I have ever done. 9 hours a week… its just great.

I need to restart and maintain learning my Wing Chun Kuen… I have not trained in a couple of years (about 4) and it was such a part of my life before I moved to England that I really miss it even now.. Hopefully when I move to the USA I can continue learning the same branch.

I was training under Sifu Bruce Corles under William Cheungs lineage, and I had got up to starting to learn Bui Jee.. I had learnt up to about ‘60’ on the dummy, and had down sui nim tao, baart jam dao, chum kui, etc and was just starting to get into the advanced stuff of bui jee and lok dim boon gwun and mook jong..

Oh how I miss it… 以攻為守 (attack, dont defend!)
