Worth doing!
and every day I hold the door for someone.
I offer to help a stranger carry their stuff
and I make the effort to give way so a lady can walk first
keeps me on this path of Chivalry.
One day I’ll even get a chance to rescue a damsel in distress :).
After all what is a Knight without a dragon to fight?
Worth doing!
The desire to play Knight in Shining.. is a reflection on my upbringing and so the credit goes to the women who raised me that I feel the need to be Chivalrious.
This is the big one. The goal. The one to which everything else is leading.
I understand that now.
GypsysLittleDreamer explained to me that “Modesty is frowned upon by most Native Americans. It is thought to be somehow
dishonest”. So I will celebrate that chivalrous acts loudly and sing my own praises.
This will be a challenge for me as I think it’s my internal conflict of modesty over pride that has led to my inability to tackle some of the more recent challenges in my life as well as I should.
Two fellow knights had my back this week. What is it they say about the company you keep ?
It’s happening – the invasion of the killer bunnies!
IAmElectroGirl shared this video clip with me, and as a knight I must save the world from being dominated by killer bunnies – once I stop laughing ! (she posted it a few months ago and I watch it often!)

Victories great and small are a part of our lives; they are all a part of being a knight.
In a roundtable such as 43Things, does a knight discuss his victories, or would that be boasting? Does a knight boast of the dragons he has slain? Do I keep silent? Or do the rules of decorum cease in a virtual place like 43Things?
With the way the Scarlet Knights are playing this year I may have to change this goal to “be a knight in scarlet armor.” Why couldn’t we have had a great football team when I was there? Argh!
