open a bookshop

have wanted to do this for so many years. i can imagine my bookshop to be small and quaint, filled with books that delight people. not that there’ll be no bestsellers; i’ll just stock the ones that matter. i’ll have plenty of children’s books because they’re the best, for adults, even. there’ll be no self-help section.

I would love to do this one day. Sooner rather than later. I don’t just love reading books, I love books no matter what. It pains me to see people go to throw books and I usually end up saving them from the bin. It would just be my life. I’d be willing to go without all my luxuries, scraping by but happy simply because I’d be doing something I loved.
Unfortunately money is always an issue with most of my dreams and so this will not be happening anytime soon.

This is the thing I want to do with my life. I have ideas on how I want to go about it and what kind of bookshop I would like it to be, just think ‘you’ve got mail’ but with more adult fiction. Now I just need to start writing it all down in an organised manner and overcome the fear that I will probably fail and lose money! yey!
