improve my relationship with God

This new year, I wannt to improve my relationship with God, by praying more and be more sensitive of His Light in my life.

After Holy Week I realized that I need to go to church more than twice a year and pray more than whenever I need something. I’m trying to stay focused on God througout my day and not worry about things that will truly be meaningless in the long run.

I’m picking up a study bible soon…Hopefully to get a better understanding.

Prayer, Fasting, & Service to the church is what is important.

i havent gone to sunday masses and neither read the bible for a long long time and i feel that its ashame on me and being ungrateful for all wonderfull things thats happening in my life..
The HOLY WEEK has passed and i didnt do anything neither stepped a foot in a church..
there’s this “want to do it” feeling but everytime a try to take the first step, i always tend to hold back..
though i am a very prayful person, i always pray before i go to sleep and when i wake up befor i go to work to thank him for another day in my life, give thanks for the blessings HE is showering me and my family, ask for forgiveness, give HIM phraises, ask for guidance and for help achieving things we want in life.. but for me… honestly.. it aint enough.. I have a lot of making it up to the MAN up there.

My sister bought me a Women’s study Bible…I’d like to incorporate reading it and my bible into my daily or at least weekly (to start) routine.

I would like to improve my relationship with God. But for every step i take forward there 5 pulling me back. I believe in God and his only son Jesus Christ with all my heart. I just need a better understanding of a few things. Like how ti hear from him. How do i get to a place in my life where i can feel good about my relationship. I tried not praying and acting like i did not care but i felt empty. Is reading the bible all it takes?

i want to grow my relationship with God buti know that i get distracted by things that are so trvial. I know that i know that i have to pray more and read my bible more but i always think later but never get round to it!
i know that its nit good enough so i must try! I know i am looking for human love but i know the most imnportant is Gods Love!

Little by little everyday… life can jsut be so hard but I know He will always help me… and will never, ever leave me.

I’m on the road to it getting better, but I just want it to keep getting better. I feel kind of distant from him right now, and that scares me.
