How I did it: I thought about what makes ME happy. not what makes others happy ABOUT me. I really couldnt sleep last night until I made a list of things that make me happy because something so very unhappy just happened; I lost my job after 2 years. It's unfortunate but focusing on what I like about life will most certainly get me moving in the right direction. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I just wrote everything that came to mind, but didn't force myself to continue when I ran out of inspiration. So it took three thinking-and-writing sessions. Definitely, after each time I did this I felt much better than before. Read how I did it…

How I did it: To start with I thought I was going to really struggle. I didn't want to just pick silly fluffy things - like 100 different types of food (even if they would have been valid happiness making things) I got to about 30 and was finding it difficult to get much further. But I didn't have to rush and get all done in one day - even if I only added one entry each time that was OK. And gradually (and with a bit of sticky beaking at other lists) I… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I reflected and day dreamed, thinking about all the sweet precious moments and people that light up my day, and thought about life on a general and personal scale. This was rewarding in itself. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I read a few 'how you did it posts'. I didn't really want to read what other people said made them happy, I wanted to know how they wrote it...I would credit someone with a name, but I can't find the post that inspired me. I first made a long post of the things that immediately came to mind, I then opened a Google Document, whipped up a cut 'n' paste edit session, put it in A->Z like someone said to do, and typed it up. I have it… Read how I did it…

I’m going to start by doing an a-z of things that make me happy, then when i run out of ideas or can’t find things that make me happy beginning with the odd letters like x or q then i’ll start my list of 100.
I’ll hopefully start this tomorrow.

Don’t get me wrong, I love a big, heavy meal as much as the next person. I could eat my weight in mashed potatoes or pot roast, but after big meals I always feel miserable. I always overeat on big meals, and I’m not sure why. I’m sure it’s something that goes back to my childhood when my sister and I would compete for the last bit of our favourite foods.
I’ve taken to eating more salads and flat breads and such. I eat boiled eggs for snacks instead of chips or something. It makes me feel much better about myself, and if I overeat on salad it’s not like overeating on biscuits.
Now if only I would stop baking cheesecakes all the time.
