Taking AP classes while I was in high school was one of the best things I ever did. Not only were they enjoyable and at times challenging, they pushed me to do my best.
AP US History- 4
AP European History- 5
AP English- 4
I got to skip the basic gen ed’s freshman year of college and take classes I actually enjoyed!!!
Pay attention in class and work with your peers and you will be successful. Also if your teacher offers study sessions-GO! You won’t regret it!!!
You can save a whole year in college by taking AP classes. That is a huge savings in time and money. I spent my extra year studying abroad and taking fun classes (because I was on a four-year scholarship, so there was no rush to graduate). Many schools do not accept a 3, at least not for your major classes.
Good luck!
I totally have my AP Lit test tomorrow. I would be MORE than happy just to get a 3, but I would die if I got a 4. I’m prayin’!!
4. I was so shocked—I didn’t think I did very well and a couple of the questions were completely new to me. But after a year of getting up early to take 1st period AP Biology, a year of a terrific teacher, a year of sitting at a table with friends. I am completely shocked, but it was extremely satisfying. :)
I got a four on the AP Psychology test last year, which is pretty cool. I thought I’d get a three because I really didn’t do well on the essays. I must’ve aced the multiple choice, I guess.
I’m hoping it’ll count as some sort of credit for college next year, but who knows? Do these things expire?
back in 1987, which satisfied my freshman college English requirement. Not having to write all those pesky term papers really freed up a lot more of my time for partying!
I did it! After ALL that studying I actually got a 4 on the AP test! Damn am I proud. :) <---times a billion
Well, I took the AP European History test today, but highly doubt the 4. The multiple choice and essay #1 went smoothly, wish I could say the same for the DBQ. To sum up my DBQing in a word…ouch. Sigh, i just don’t want Burns to be disappointed in me. We’ll soon see if someone at the college board has a soul and pities my incompitancy and scores me a 4. Yeah, I wish.
