surround myself with kind, happy, positive, genuine people

I’ve always believed, and… in fact, taught my children that we have a responsibility to ourselves to choose “friends” that enrich our lives and hopefully visa versa. Unfortunately, the wonderful close “friends’ in my life have all slowly moved away in the last few years, and I find myself in a place unfamiliar to me…a place where I’m surrounded by selfish, negative, emotionally unhealthy, disingenuous people (poisonous!)...and I feel loneliness. I think focusing on this goal might be beneficial in many areas of my life right now.

To find yourself and life being poisoned or spoiled by mean, angry, negative, sour, rude, fake, selfish people that are everywhere. Thankfully, there are just as many, maybe more sweet, honest, caring people out there. You just have to find them and aspire to be one.
I am always looking for that twinkle in the eye or sparkle in the personality that usually emits from my favorite people. Oh, and another thing… they usually carry a smile wherever they go…
