Oh dear. I could just copy the last entry. Only the current situation isn’t that good.

I managed to keep my BMI at about 28.5 for a while, but eventually I lost it and started eating too much. Despite doing loads of exercise (over 100 miles a week of cycling) it just stayed at the same level. And then I went on holiday and it just shot back up.

For the last couple of months I’ve had a BMI of about 29-30. But now it’s time for a new effort. After a week of so I’ve dropped about 0.5 BMI points to be at about 29.5.

It should be possible to get it down to 25 by June. And this time I really mean it.

The BMI hovered at about 30ish for a week or two after I wrote that entry. Almost to the point that I was despairing. It had taken so much effort to get it down below 30 it was frustrating to hit a plateau.

But it has started dropping again. A couple of weeks of concerted effort (basically, cycling to work four times a week) have seen my BMI down to about 28.5. It should be possible to get it down to 25 by July, or perhaps even June.

At one point my BMI was over 42. I’m not too sure what it was exactly because the weight was too much for the scales I had at the time.

But that was about 2 years ago. Since then I’ve got my BMI to below 30. Now I just need to get rid of the rest of the excess weight and get down to a BMI of 25.

At the moment that will involve losing about 15kg. Since I’ve lost about 20kg in the last six months or so it shouldn’t be impossible.
