How I did it: I signed up for a class and took my fiance. I was really excited to find a yoga studio so close to our home and I was even more excited that my fiance agreed to come along. We had a great time after our first class and I felt so great. I have been wanting to get back into yoga for SUCH a long time and now I'm sooo excited that I finally did it!
Lessons & tips: Just do it

In undergrad I took a Yoga Class and I LOVED IT it was one of the few ways I have ever been able to unwind. I want to start doing yoga again. Hopefully when I am back state side I can take another class.
Reandom on your mark, get set, GO!
I havent done Yoga in six months since I left SC, I am ready to try it. I hope it will be the thing that gets me out of my shell, and I really do miss it.

I’ve been really motivated lately to get back in shape and right now yoga is the best way to start for me. I have back problems and my posture is terrible and I don’t want to do anything intense until my back muscles are stronger. I need a new yoga mat. I have two right now and I lay them on top of each other for extra cushioning (again, back issues) and they are both pretty old but the first one I ever had is ancient. It is ready for retirement. Plus Juno thinks its great to claw them up. I can’t have anything!

I didn’t realize how much I missed it until I started doing it again. I can already feel my back muscles tightening and getting stronger. I am still feeling sore so some things are hard for me to do. I’m not as flexible as I used to be and I feel like crud, because the person in my yoga dvd is a guy and he is WAY more flexible than any man should ever be. I feel like, as a woman I have to be more flexible than this guy. I don’t know why I feel that way but I do.
I’m a weirdo I know.

I’m sorry, what was that? Who is doing yoga again? Me? Oh you silly muffin!!!
I did an hour of yoga today! Yay me! My lower back is so sore that when I sit down and stand up I cry out in pain, but that’s okay!

I lost my yogilates dvd somehow or other in the move and I didn’t realize it until I dug the case out to actually do a workout. I opened it and I was all ready to do the workout but there was no dvd! So I went to the store yesterday and bought a yoga dvd and a pilates dvd so if I do both of them in one day then its yogilates… or at least it is in my little world.

Took a beginners class and plan to start going once a week. this is hard to add to my already busy schedule but i’m gonna try… will move to the “done” list after i’ve done this at least couple of months.
ebd is grateful... :e)
I started running about a month ago and surprisingly I noticed that it helps my yoga practice too. And since I signed up to run a half marathon coming up in less than two weeks, I have to train consistently and thus practice my yoga more regularly as well. I really fell in love with running, which I’m actually very surprised about since I somehow always imaged I wouldn’t like it. I find that yoga and running definately complement each other.
To your health!
