Just dropped off a painting today for a show in November!

I’d love to set up stands at festivals and sell my art, or at least have my own studio information and the money for it. Maybe this will help me get started. I need all the help I can get. I also need to get as far in my dreams as possible. Help me change the world?

I’d love to display some of my art in a gallery

I was recently accepted to show at a new local gallery that just opened, called The Liffey Art House. It is small- a great start, and I am sure it will be a great experience!

This is an oil painting on canvas. It is 18×24 inches in size. It is for sale for $950.00.

I am 83 years old and I paint well. I’ve been painting for about 10 years and have a closet full of pretty paintings that I would like to show and sell. They are mostly oils, but there are a few acrylics and a few pastels.

Technically I have done this. However, it was required to have an art show to be able to get my degree(s) so I don’t know whether it really counts or not. I would love to be able to have a show somewhere else, but my area is a little short on galleries. A couple of new places have opened up in my area, so I need to go check those out. I have my pictures of my art printed out and ready to go into a binder to show.

Art shows are fun and interesting. The senior show that I was in had 4 artists in it including myself. I didn’t sell anything though.

I’ve had small showings in art auctions and coffeeshops, but I’m still looking for that big show!
