Set up my Website

Well I have a website now that I set up with my friend www.cosplaysnap.co.uk. Its been a huge success!

I’ve had this idea for some time now and had plans to set it up almost two years ago. I’ve got the tools now so why not?

I’m not gonna give my idea away though so sorry >.< but I will need a website. Unforunately I can’t afford a proper one just now. So I may start with a free one until I get a proper job.

Besides, I need time to brainstorm and figure out how the whole thing is going to work…

I published a site to the web, and it was strangely unsatisfying. I did it through my email provider, and it looks pretty crappy. Thinking of paying the $8 for a domain name, and making the site in Frontpage. Found this website about doing it. Maybe I’ll put an ad in the local paper, contact some schools, put the cheap site on my business card, then see what happens. Oh wait, I better get a site now, b/c don’t want a bad link to be on a business card. Guess I’ll look at it like an itunes purchase…

• book reviews: 1/4 done
• literary magazine: 1/8 done
• having that much done: priceless

the homepage of the website is finished…now to do the newsletter section tomorrow or wednesday.
ETA: the site is finished and really cute. just have to add the content.

Worked on the class website a lot today in a web design class…just have to get frontpage b/c it’s the only program our server will accept – that way, i could work from home. i’m thinking that the website will be up by next week – will continue to work on it. just trying to figure out how to embed the kids.yahoo search bar on the page…

the tutoring website is coming along – i’ve got two of the pages drafted, and the framework of the whole site is all set up. the class site is halfway there as well – going to try to finish it this week. :)
