i know this sounds ridiculous, but i REALLY want to go to Dollywood. i even suggested to my husband that we go there on our honeymoon (along with Graceland and Loretta Lynn’s Hurricane Mills) and he was not thrilled to find out i wasn’t kidding.
i’ve loved Dolly Parton since i was a child, in fact she might be the very first musical artist i was ever a fan of. i’m determined to get there someday, i’m such a big roots country fan i’d be happy to go to TN; even though for the most part i don’t enjoy the south because i have tattoos and people look at me like i’m going to decapitate their children. that, and there’s AWESOME bbq there. i take both Dolly Parton and bbq extremely seriously.
i esp. want to go on a week when Dolly’s doing live appearances and parades. if i met her, i think i would do some combination of screaming, crying, passing out, or possibly vomiting.
