I got my second ear lobe piercings in October 2008. I loved them from the moment I got them, and I still love them! I got them pierced with a piercing gun. The pain wasn’t that bad. I wouldn’t have gotten them done if I hadn’t been sure that’s what I wanted. Another thing is that I know at least two older women (in their 50’s or 60’s, I guess) from my church who have double pierced ear lobes, and I think they still look great in their ears! It isn’t just a teenage thing if it’s what you really want. It was definitely worth it (and if you change your mind, you can always take them out and let them grow up).
How to get my ears double pierced
How I did it: I always wanted to get my ears double pierced but I never did until I got my divorce. You will be wondering why? The simple reason was my husband, he was never very pleased to changes, period :-|

I got double (and later triple) pierced in a flurry of excitement as a teen. I enjoyed them for a while simply because piercing tends to get addictive. It’s just so much fun adding little accessories to yourself!
ut after taking a moment recently to consider whether or not I honestly like the look of them….I decided to take them out and just leave in the one. It’s just so much cuter that way. More girly, more classy, more natural.
Anyway, go ahead and get them done if you want, though. That’s the great thing about piercings—you can always change your mind.
YOu hold ice onto the spot for how ever long it takes for the area to get numb. Then you take the earring post and stick it through. No pain at all
My friend is apprenticing in a piercing shop and needs to do a certain number of practice piercings before she can start to work for pay. I came in and let her do my second ear piercing, just up the ear from my lobal piercing.
It looks pretty sweet, I’m not going to lie, and I’m pretty jazzed about wearing two earrings at once (I’m an earring fiend so this is a big happy for me.)
I went with one of my friends to get her tragus pierced and I had mentioned thinking about getting my ears double pierced to which she replied “do it”. So to make a long story short, I wound up in the piercing chair at Clairs with a lady pointing a piercing gun to my head saying, “pinch”. It didn’t hurt, it was a little red for a few minutes afterward, and it looks good to me.
ive stretched primary piercing to 6mm and the secondary piercing to 1.6mm on my left, and on my right ear, i’ve stretched my primary piercing to 3mm (will increase in future, just cba atm whilst at school, too easy to get knocked out etc) and secnodary peircing to 1.6mm.
picture included is my left ear, the one with my 6mm.
proud of it
dont stretch bigger than a 6mm – it wont shrink back otherwise and if you change your mind in future, you’ll have to have an operation to de-size it!
While it was fun at first to wear earings in both sets, they were all little metal balls and stuff.
I’m not much of an earing wear-er anymore, so they’ve closed up.
Vicky is determined to stay on here this time :)
Everyone who’s done it is like it doesn’t hurt. It hurt like hell. I nearly fainted at the checkout I banged my head on a display. But then I got a free lollipop so it was all worth it!!! Oh and a free drink of water!
