i got tickets to see his final concert at the albert docks in liverpool in 2004. it was brilliant and not what i expected, he did loads of the old stuff including the beatle numbers and he played solid for about 3 hours, it was remarkable

This is worth doing… I know because I was there. Paul was GREAT! AWSOME! SUPER! EXCELLENT!!!!! I would like to go back to a concert of his and I will probably will again when he goes back on tour if he still does… I hope everyone that want to see him at a concert is able to go. Paul McCartney can do a Fantastic show and a Terrific performance…. His music is awsome too

Definitely the most entertaining rock concert I have ever been to. Wonderful!

Went to my fourth in October 05! 4 years ago

Despite being a long-time Beatle fan, I had somehow missed ever seeing any of them perform live. Then in April 2002 Paul played in my town. My ticket cost $125 – and mine weren’t the most expensive seats in the house – so I had some misgivings about whether his show would be worth the cost. By the beginning of the third song, all my doubts were gone! He puts on a fantastic show, high energy, without a break for two and a half hours. I loved it so much I went to two more shows on that tour. And now he’s coming around again…and I’m going once again! Spend the money. You won’t regret it!

Addendum: The US Tour came through Washington in October 2005, and once again I spent a few hours with Sir Paul. This man knows how to put on a show!

Addendum 2 Fast forward to November 2006, and Paul’s classical piece Ecce Cor Meum has its American premiere at Carnegie Hall. I was lucky enough to be in the audience for that one, too. Paul was present that night, but not performing, so I’m not sure whether to tally it as another McCartney concert or not.
