I want to learn how to speak this language because i have to have a credit of a language to graduate and i dont want to take a normal spanish or french or anything like that. I also think it is a beautiful language. :]

My family and I are moving to Kona HI in 6 months and 12 days!
We all are looking foward to leaving the mainland and are searcjing the sites for free lessons and online training in the hawaiiancultures!

I want to learn how to speak hawaiian, and i have looked on loads of different sites to find free ways of learning. Unfortunatly i am progressing very slowly. I think it would help me alot if i could find a site where you could hear the words being pronounced rather than having to read how they are pronounced.

In all my travels it is the most beautiful language I have ever heard. Just hearing it makes me happy.

Long live the Hawaiian language. The Hawaiian language is a lovely language in both sound and cultural expression. I consider learning to read and speak Hawaiian one of the best things I have ever accomplished. When I visited Hawai’i last year, every Hawaiian speaking person I spoke Hawaiian with were very surprised and pleased to find a haole from 4500 miles away speaking their language. So, yes indeed. Learning to speak Hawaiian is definitely worth the effort. It would be my pleasure to help anyone to learn Hawaiian.
“E ola ka ‘olelo Hawai’i” is a rallying cry for the Hawaiian language immersion schools that began in 1987 with a single pre-school and now includes complete education conducted in Hawaiian from K-12.

Ive been wanting to learn to speak Hawaiian for quite a while now, I have no idea how many different sites that I have been to trying to find something on it that is free. Someday I would love to live thee when I turn 19 which is still a while away but I want to know all that I can in there language for when I go there even though not everone speaks it I still want to learn it.
