talk to a homeless person

I was smoking a cigarette while waiting for the bus and this guy who looks exhausted walks up to me. He asks me if I can give him 10 dollars to help him get inside of some building. I don’t know what the place was because i didn’t quite hear him. I gave it to him. After I gave it to him he asked, “Why did you do that?”. I replied, “That’s just the type of person I am.” He then gave me a talk about how he became homeless. About how he walks the streets all night to survive. How he moved down here to Atlanta and couldn’t get work. About putting God first in whatever you do. About His daughter and how much of a giving person she is. About how the love of money is the root of all evil. And about how important it is to have a giving heart. It was pretty intense. I got a bunch of knowledge and by the moment the bus came and we parted with a bro hug, even though I gave him money, I was thanking him for the wisdom.
