How I did it: i took all of my pre-reqs and treated school as if t was a full-time job. i studied from 7 am - 5pm for 7 days a week.i practically lived and breathed school. i knew my weaknesses so i made up for it with drive and determination. oh yeah, don't read the threads in the days leading up to receiving your decision letter. it makes for a stressful week. How I did it: I tried my best in all my classes. Studied instead of partying, unlike many of my college acquaintances. And despite getting rejected, I revised my application, built up my resume and credentials, and sent it in again.I worked hard and never gave up. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I found out literally a week before classes started. The Nursing office made a mistake on calculating my points! I had very little time to prepare for my experience, so my first week and my entrance into the program was rushed, to say the least. In the end, I know it's going to be worth it when I walk across that stage and receive my diploma Read how I did it…

How I did it: School has to be your life in order to get the grades you need to get into nursing school! You have to do well in Anatomy and Physiology b/c you will be using what you learned for your whole career and a lot of what you learn in NS goes back to those classes. It can't be that you get an 'A' and call it good. You have to know and understand how the body works. I also worked as a CNA and althought you don't need it to get into school it rea… Read how I did it…

I am trying to transfer to a University and I hope all my efforts pay off. I was not accepted to my school of choice. But I’ll try again, and this time apply to as many schools as I can.
I am glad I applied; it makes me feel good that I got into nursing school. However, I have since changed my mind and switched majors… again!
It took me a while to realize that I want to be a nurse. I’m a senior in college trying to go for a Biology degree, which is not THAT bad but there is just too much science that I will not be needing or using such as physics and other biology classes (that may good to know and learn but not be very relevant). I want to learn about the human body and help others and start working! I don’t want to be a lab rat! But then again I’ve been fooling around because I’m not interested or motivated.
so hopefully I will get into the MSN program.
If not I may have to start over. T.T sigh….
I hope it all goes well or I want everything to go well. No more time to waste.
I have wanted to be a nurse since I was 12 years old. I’m now 23 and have had a few set backs on my way. I’m still taking pre reqs and hope to get in a program soon!

One day I will get into nursing school and finally live out my dream !
I’ve missed the application deadline for Fall ‘08, so I’m applying for Spring ‘09. Hopefully I’ll get in then, so I can get it over with and start work sooner!
YAAAAAAAY! I AM SO EXCITED I FINALLY GOT INTO NURSING SCHOOL!!! And not just any school, my first choice, Sonoma State Universtiy! I am so excited and so happy!!! Thanks to all who supported me, i love you all so much.
I got in…
Turns out, the real trick is actually staying in. This is the hardest challenge I’ve faced in my life.
I will start nursing school in Fall 2008, and I will be a nurse by Fall 2010! The schools I am applying to use a lottery system to choose their students… so, when you don’t have control, using positive thinking is the best way to make it happen.
