clarify and promote my Girl Scout program

Finished the flyer and sent it off to a few leaders. Hopefully they will forward it. I will be on the lookout for other people I can send it to, but the Councils are set to merge in September, so I don’t want to put anything in anyone’s inbox until they have stuff straightened out. Maybe more in the fall I will poke around and find some other people to send it to. But for now, this is the original task I had in mind. Yippee!

that I can forward to different leaders I know and hopefully they will pass it on. I will have to remember to make it a .pdf to avoid formatting problems as an attachment. Now to take the plunge – now is a good time of year to do this as people are soon to be gearing up for the Girl Scout year. But all my addresses are on my school computer, plus I need to take the time to look at the requirements my mini-program addresses for certain patches. Once I’ve done that, I’m good to go!

I developed a program last year for Brownie Girl Scouts about the Four World Centers and delivered it to one troop at my school. Well, it’s been announced and promoted, which is great, but which makes me realize I am answering a million questions to a million people. So I want to make a little flyer that people can forward around and which has all the info on it. This is my little way I can take time to contribute right now, and it’s kind of my passion in Scouting, anyway, so that’s good. This is more of a summer goal, it’ll sit here until the semester is done, and that’s ok. At least I’ll remember it if I put it up.
