Took today off... 22 months ago

To cross some stuff off my running-ever-long to-do list (and I am actually not feeling that great, so I don’t actually feel bad about taking off.

Anyway, something has been looming over my head and I made an appt today for next week to set the wheels in motion* for something I’ve been waiting for a year and a half already.

*I’m not into puns, that’s just the right phrase.

Today... 2 years ago

I crossed off a bunch of stuff in one afternoon and I feel more in control than I have in a while. Tomorrow I improve my ‘filing’ system, so I’ll never again have to hunt for important paperwork.

The chaos is a little more organised.

2 for me... 2 years ago

Made a doc’s appt (and went) last week and the flat is now quite tidy as well. And I find myself awake at work time without actually having to go in. My mother says that the UK gets too many holidays, but what the bleep does she know? She also thinks my eyes are blue.

2 outta 6? 2 years ago

There’s always today. Well, after work. Now there’s another email to answer! The most pressing one for me is Unearth my transcript!, but the emails could prove extra significant as well.

And actually do all the things I'm actually too tired to do when I get home from work... 2 years ago

a. drink coffee.
b. Call boss.
c. Begin.

1. Find transcript in one of several boxes.
2. Sign up for night classes in April (not what I need transcript for.)
3. Pay a bill.
4. Go food shopping.
5. Do laundry.
6. Write emails.

I’m sure there’s more, but that’s the pertinent list.
