Just this week I started the Couch to 5K training program. The program is just 3 days a week. Monday was my first day. All went well, I finished, but wasn’t able to jog toward the end of the walk. Wednesday was different. On Wednesday I plugged through, it was a blast, I felt like I was being trained by Jillian or Bob from Biggest Loser. I jogged throughout the jogging portion at about 4mph and the last leg of my jog I bumped it up to 5mph. I don’t want to injure myself so I am taking things slow. I am not as sore as I have been and tomorrow I go at it again, which will be the big test.

Well I got up at about 5:30 and did 10 minutes on the elliptical.

I did 45 minutes on the treadmill again today. I may of pushed a little too hard because as I was climbing the stairs later I felt some pain in my knee.
I may of had to incline to high towards the end.

Wow I did it. It wasn’t hard at all and was kinda fun. I blasted the music, put on my uber-strength sports bra and heart rate monitor, turned on the treadmill and started with a 20 minute walk. After that I decided to try one of the speed programs that I never use and continued for about 25 more minutes. Highest HR was 176 & average HR was 146. Not bad for starters, planning to do it again tomorrow morning before work.
