this could be cross-posted under “let go.”
letting go of stuck emotions.
“The Basic Sedona Method – Letting Go Of Stuck Emotions At Will”
am going to give this process a shot.
Step 1: Connect to the uncomfortable feeling/emotional state that you do not want to experience (either current or something from your past). Allow yourself to welcome the feeling. Ask yourself: “Could I let myself really feel this? Experience it and identify it if you can. Don’t worry if you can’t put a good descriptive word to it-just a felt-sense of it is fine too. The more clearly you can isolate the feeling, the easier it is to let go of.
Step 2: Next, ask yourself the following three question, taking time on each to feel within:
1. Can I let this go?
2. Will I let this go?
3. When?
And Step 3 is a lot of information about what to do if the first two steps don’t help you feel unstuck…
clearly need a little more reading cause i just aimed for my “tender spot” and jabbed a pressure point :D

i am stuck. emotionally stuck as a fourteen year old. my body keeps having birthdays but my amygdala does not. okay, brain! it’s time to make some forward progress!
visited a counselor this week who advised me that the age at which one begins drinking as a way to alter feelings, to change what emotions we experience, to numb, to forget, to obliterate… it numbs the amygdala too, the emotional center of the brain. we get stuck in the emotional stage of that age, and it doesn’t get to mature until we recognize it and start to work on it.
so yeah, i’m an emotional fourteen-year-old. that would explain part of why teaching high schoolers was so hard this year :) ready to start the work of getting unstuck and helping my brain grow up.

but, I think I have managed to do this, at least temporarily. I am therefore going to operate on the principle that I am unstuck, so that I can complete many tasks!

I got some things done this weekend, but not enough. This week will be very intense at work. I hope I can figure out how to juggle it all and get enough done, fulfilling my responsibilities adequately.

Found that “being stuck” was due to settling and working for a company. Far more interesting to work for your own company rather than someone else’s.
