I usually AM nice to strangers but it’s getting a bit harder. I workin a hotel so I have people coming up to me and asking for things or information all the time, and usually I answer them with a smile. Then there’s the ones that just completely fucking ignore you when you like, hold the door open for them or hand them something that they dropped or say good morning to them. THOSE people are the ones that get to me. It’s not hard to be nice to someone, even if you just smile back or say ‘thanks’, it doesn’t take up much of your time. Grr!
Anyway. Yeah, I’m going to try to get back to being nice to strangers even if some of the strangers I smile at give me a funny look. Screw them. At least I’m nice =]
