throw away all the socks in my house and replace them with several dozen matching new ones, thus eliminating the need to match them after washing

I’ve been doing laundry once or twice a week pretty regularly, so I’m not too concerned about having a lot of socks available. I’m going to purchase several dozen pairs anyway, but keep some stashed away somewhere. When the black starts to go gray or anything gets holes or something, I’ll slowly phase in the stashed ones. Mmhmm, that’s what I shall do. Soon I hope, but it’s summer and I don’t wear real shoes in the summer…

If we’re going to use the same ones all the time, we might as well have good ones. I’m thinking that maybe we should buy socks that have wicking abilities to keep your feet dry. I hear tell Nike makes good ones. Eventually, my husband will have to buy “dress socks,” but for now we use our socks interchangably. Hmmm.

Working pretty well so far.

I’ll buy like two dozen white pairs and three dozen black pairs. Then each of us will have, almost two weeks of white and two weeks of black. This plan will serve many purposes!

• Our socks will always match.
• Save time on laundry day, to make up for the extra time I’m spending on ironing lately.
• No more old socks, or socks that don’t have pairs.
• If our dryer eats a sock or two, it won’t matter, because there are dozens more just like it!
