i don’t necessarily compliment three people everyday.
but whenever i see something i like about someone, i tell them.
sometimes, it might be a couple of days before i dish out a compliment.
other times, i might give out five a day!
it all depends really.
i think the most important part is to be sincere.
or at the very least, look it.
How to compliment three people every day
How I did it: It was quite easy for me to do. I've always loved complementing people! I do it all the time. I especially love complementing people I don't know. It's always great to see them give you a bright smile. I will never be fully done with this goal because it is something you should continue to do throughout your whole life. I think I can manage that though!
Lessons & tips: If you see something you like about someone...whether it's there hair, shoes, earrings, whatever...tell them! It makes you feel good seeing them smile! Especially when it seems like they were kind of down...

i’ve been doing pretty good at this.
especially when i’m at work – i see so many people.
at school i usually dish out a couple too.
sometimes i think about this during the day but never find someone to compliment.
i don’t want to compliment people without being sincere, but sometimes i do anyway because i know it makes them feel good.

If I can do this for three months straight I will count it as “done”. I haven’t even been able to do three days yet though. It’s always nice to be complimented, especially if the person means it. I get complimented on my hair all the time – I admit, I have cool hair.
But – it makes you feel good, any day, but especially on a crap day. Why is it so hard?

Just kidding. I am trying – it’s part of a whole turning over a new leaf and not being so judgemental thing I’m doing anyway.
I am going to keep trying.

It’s a small thing that can make a difference in someone’s day. I’m going to try it for a few months, and see how I do.
i’m excited to get started on this.
i love complimenting people.
even if they are strangers.
i love seeing them smile afterwards.
besides the fact that i forget about this goal for months at a time, i just never see anything worthy of complimenting!
i almost told a guy at the post office today that i liked his nose. it was so big.
so I am giving it up in favor of something else.
I was trying to compliment people that I normally wouldn’t, but I was failing at that. So I tried to compliment 3 students a day, that mostly came down to “Good job” and “Nice sweater”. I suck at compliments, which is why I chose this goal. I may come back to it in the future, but for now….
I give up.
1 “Happy Valentine’s Day, you look great in that red sweater!” – (To myself)
2 “I like your shirt!” – (To my co-worker who was wearing a “This Was The Worst Present Ever” shirt on his birthday)
3 “These are delicious. You did a great job!” (To my co-worker on the homemade chocolate covered strawberries she brought in.)
at this one. I guess you could count what I say to my students, but not really. I gotta try harder to compliment people I wouldn’t normally or on things I wouldn’t comment on usually.
