Adam Reid is trying to get my debt in order
I’m a huge Bruins fan and i’ve only seen them play in Buffalo because Boston is pretty far from me but I am going to try and make the first game i see, a playoff game this year. Here’s hoping!
How I did it: Being a huge Bruins fan and living in the Toronto area sometimes sucks. There are a ton of hockey fans but not so many that share the same passion for the Bruins. It was great being able to sit at the Gardens and cheer on the B's among all other B's fans. Don't get to do that too often. 5-1 against hated Montreal made things so much better too! I'll have to make it a playoff tradition :).

My husband and I went to see the Flyers play the Bruins (part of our quest to see games at all NHL arenas) in the 2003-04 season. We rode the subway to the game and were caught in the huge crush of people in the lower concourse and were amazed at the poor building design to get upstairs. (Heaven forbid if that building has to be evacuated quickly!)
But the main levels of the building were much better, and although we got some friendly ribbing from Boston fans (we were wearing Flyers jerseys), it never got out of hand.

... literally and figuratively. It probably would’ve helped if our seats hadn’t been in the very top row (which was so steep. I was afraid I’d tumble all the way down to the rink). It also would’ve helped if the Bruins hadn’t played so sluggishly en route to a loss.
