jump into water fully clothed

Well, in spite of a few tricky circumstances, I’ve been able to get wet a couple times this summer. Even with my wife once: we were checking out a possible apartment to buy, and it was a hot day, and there’s a small river nearby. So we walked through the forest to the river, and got to a steep, grassy bank, with an inviting beach on the other side. My wife decided to take off her pants (that’s trousers to you Brits), to my disappointment, and wade across. At least her shirt got a little wet. Me, I ‘had’ to keep my pants on, because I had white underwear on! Good planning on my part. :) Later, we waded around the river, and I found a nice deep spot where I could get my shirt all wet. Ah, it was nice. I take what I can get.

I’ve always wanted to do this but only in a sudden and spontaneous way, I don’t think its quite the same when you’ve have to spend time making sure you’ve taken your phone and valuables out of your pockets first!

I’ve done this once at my cousin’s house, but I’m hoping to “take the plunge” again this summer.

My children dared me, so I did. It was really fun because they completely did not believe I would. It’s great to surprise them now and then. :)

Its a kinda spur of the moment thing you regret later. Its fun until you realise you have nothing dry ti change into and you gotta walk round in wet clothes for the rest of the day looking stupid.

Still, I know I’ll end up doing it some day cause its the sort of thing I would do.

Hopefully I’m going to be able to do this when I go to Spain with my family in May… wee’re going to have a private pool so nobody can stop me :)

it is getting just a tid bit cold outside…...
still never really attempted it.
but i think i am wanting to do this REALLY soon.
just cause it being seriously FREEZING sounds kinda fun.

The first time my best friend and I ever hung out, we were going for a walk in the woods. We came to a river, and he said, “Next time we come, i’m bringing boots.” I looked at him and said, “Come on ben, live in the fucking moment!.” And we did.

almost every day in my backyard pool, never felt better!!!
