At least I haven’t gained the 20 pounds back. I’m yoyoing 5lbs. I was reading my old entries and my mood seems to bounce back and forth with my weight. I fall off the diet trail when it’s close to my period time or I’m sad about the separation between my boyfriend and I. Lately, I lost my IPOD for 2 weeks and haven’t exercised and totally made me depressed. But thank goodness I found it and am excited about getting back into my routine. I was exercising 4x/week doing turbo kick boxing, elliptical and running. Also lifting a few weights. I need to get used to exercising in the mornings since my work schedule will change come December.
I trying to go Vegetarian and substituting meat with tofu but it discovered that the tofu and its content of estrogen was giving me bad mood swings, especially depression. So I have to stay away from too much soy products.

Arnt we all? But im a little bigger than i should be at 15 years old, Im tired of ditching guys, because im not the right size, ofcourse my bf tells me that he loves me any shape size i am but i want to feel good about myself, and not just for him. I have no help, I have no patience, and NO self confedince, I really need some help, i need a chart to go by or something :( please help?

Losing 40 pounds is blooming hard work. You have to plan every meal, count every calorie and be hyper sensitive to what you put in your mouth, but it can be done. It just takes time and a lot of patience.
I’m going to be realistic about these goals and see what I can do. I know what I need to do, I just have to get in gear. I’ve started by wearing a pedometer and tracking my steps. When I wear it I find I do try and walk more for the kudos of getting in more steps.

Another month has rolled by and I’m now down a total of 23 pounds. I’m a little disappointed in my self this last week because I went way over my Points limits what with the night out drinking, the fast food meal, and the fat-loaded breakfast on Sunday morning. I not only used up all my “extra” points, but a full day’s worth on top of that. There was no weight gain, but there wasn’t any loss either.
I haven’t been exercising lately either, so I’m going to try to do something at least 2 or 3 times a week. Something is better then nothing.

essabih is on the first day of a challenging month
I put on 40 pounds over a 3 year period at uni. Too much booze and takeaways. I finished uni almost a year ago now and have so far lost 14 pounds. However, summer is approaching and I am bored of this slow weigh loss so I have started a detox in the hope that will get the weight moving again.
There are 3 phases to my detox:
1. 5 day water only fast
2. 7 days of fresh fruit, only one type per meal
3. One month of fruit and vag, no cooked foods
I am only on day one but I will let u all know how it goes.

Before my weight loss journey, I was 132 lbs. i am 5’0.
I am now 115 lbs. So I lost … 17 pounds so far.
My ultimate goal is 90 pounds. I want to be 90 pounds before I get into highschool in July..
Why..
Because. I don’t feel beautiful at the weight I am in now. I’m supposed to be tiny but I feel big. I don’t like it. It kills me.
for a girl my height.. 5’0.. 100 lbs. is recommended. I’m kicking it up to 90 because I’m asian. Sadly, I am the fattest child in my family. That’s… just sad.

In the last five weeks I’ve managed to take off 13 pounds, through a combination of diet and exercise. Hopefully in five more weeks I can say I’ve lost another 13 pounds on top of this. :)

Dioni is laughing at herself
I went to the doctor a few days ago and I got a different subscription. Because right now I’m on an antidepressant, and I gained 30 pounds on it! So my doctor put me on ADD medicine, and supposedly it’s supposed to help you lose weight. So I’m excited. At least now I will be able to lose weight, because on that antidepressant medicine, I could not lose any weight.

Starting Again

Unfortunately, after losing my job and sitting around the house all day, every day, at home, I’ve gained back all but 8 pounds of what I had lost. Needless to say, I did not stick with my exercise program long term.
So as of yesterday, I’m trying again, but this time with a buddy. We can share what we’ve eaten or didn’t but wanted to, what exercise we’ve gotten, and whatever else we feel like talking about. We’ve also planned some days of hiking to stir things up a little.
I’m really hoping that having a buddy this time will make it easier to stick with long-term. The fact that she is built similar to me, and has almost the same amount of weight to lose helps too.

A week ago I lost 4 pounds within the first two days of starting my exercise program. Now I’m kind of stuck. I need to start eating healthier. I’m exercising everyday (cardio 5 days, strength 2 days), but not eating as healthy as I should…
