Went back to the gym today after over a year of no exercise. It felt good. Now I have to keep it up.

Today i have kickstarted my exercise regularly goal with a vengance. We went paintballing and I rode along the coast for 80 minutes!

I bought a bike!! Last week I rejoined the gym and I can go swimming too. As yet I have to start though! :)

But met with someone today who is a bit of a role model and she was aching from working out too hard!! I maybe need to model myself on her and really make an effort to start this coming week. I could try going to the gym once next week…that may not be too hard and it’s a start.

There have been periods in my life where I have been on top of this and have felt great. Then there are the dry periods and boy this past year has been one of those….. motivation to exercise has been zilch and I am getting lazier and lazier, and more and more wobbly and unfit. Therefore I intend to start back at the gym, go swimming, walk more and participate in yoga/tia chi. I may also buy a push bike. I will start this week by going to tai chi and by walking for at least half an hour three/four times.
I know that I will feel better if I exercise. I certainly felt better in the past when I was exercising. It is just so hard to get started again.
I ended up not going to the gym last night. I had a photography class and fell asleep when I got home. But I’m DEFINITELY going tonight. That will make 3. I’ll go Saturday & Sunday. I count Monday as the start of the week.
