I started a savings account over the summer, and it would be nice to have a goal to eventually reach. I have just under 400 in the account now. 1000 is my goal first, and then 2000 will soon follow!

Money troubles  — 1 week ago

    Worth doing!

I spent most of my money on a university course away in a different province. I spent a LOT of money. I had a really good time though and it was worth it. I also spent it on a laptop and groceries, and eating out and a printer and spyware, and computer programs, and alcohol, and cheese cake. But I did get to this goal but I spent it all right away as soon as it was done. I don’t regret saving or spending. I had the time of my life spending this money. It’s just now I only have 300$ left. I will have some money to add to this, but I’m starting university soon and I will need all the money I can get. I have about $7000 to my name. Not a lot but I will live!

    $76 + $25+ $10 = 111

    $76×8= $608
    $25×12 = 300

    $608 + $300= $908

damn I was hoping this was possible before I went to France in December but I’m not going to make it. And then I’ll spend all my money in France and have to start all over again. Oh well I’ve had this goal for ever. At least I have a job again even if it is only temporary.

August Supplement  — 1 week ago

We had to move $50 for some unexpected budget expenses. I wasn’t totally down with it, but I see where our budget could use some trimming now, so I’ll try to curtail any of that in the future. Plus, we were able to add another $200 today, bringing the total to $1700.14. I definitely think we’ll be able to achieve this by the time Charlotte is here, but I’d like to save as much as possible. I’m pretty sure our insurance isn’t that great and we’ll have a high bill from the hospital.

$85 more brings it to $580.

We currently have $1500. Will contribute more with the next paycheck, but I’m currently torn. Pay off credit card or put more in savings (in anticipation of deductible/co-pay for hospital-baby-bein’-born stuff)???

so close  — 4 weeks ago

    to $500
I thought I had $430 in the bank, so I put in 75. but I only had $420 so now I’m only at $495.

I`m spending all my money on a course away from my home province. Living on my own is expensive.
