As much as I’d love to adopt another dog, and as much as a dog would LOVE my new house with it’s soft, low furniture and big fenced yard, I have too many travel plans for the next year or two (or longer). My parents do a great job of baby-sitting for their current granddogs and grandcats, but it’s not fair to bring a new kid into the house when I can’t personally give as much attention as I’d like to my other little friends.

We already do have a lovely little girl who seems to be some kind of spaniel mix – she’s got the body shape of a Cavalier with the coloring of a Japanese Chin, and a darling sweet calm temperament. Here’s her picture! 7 years ago

My baby was a Cavalier King Charles spaniel and they are just the BEST dogs! So beautiful and friendly – they make wonderful companions :) I can’t wait to get another one, why is it so heartbreaking when they die? :’( But I would like to buy another one, one day… 7 years ago
