This has been fun…it’s timed so more like a game. For countries, I’m up to 193 out of 195, mostly because of the way it places names on the map, you can’t see what you missed.
Capitals: I’m at 127/195. Oceania is hopeless!

I’ve been doing memorizable.com flashcards. I’m good on Europe/South America. Africa is pretty rough! So are the former Russian republics. It’s hard to even remember all of them. Also I should be able to identify all countries on a map while I’m at it. I’m not sure why I want to do this, just that I love knowledge and I’m list-obsessed (obviously) so this is a natural fit :D

that one girl knows that all big changes are made one small decision at a time!
is this really realistic? maybe i should do all the major countries. the countries that belong to the UN? should i know the capitals of all the Canadian provinces? i am closer to Canada than i am to most American states. should i forgo this goal all together and instead make it a more outward (in respect to it’s impact on the world) goal. i’ll never be on jeopardy, and nor will knowing the capitals ever save the world, feed a child, teach life skills to the impoverished. hmm. maybe i’m over thinking, and i should just do it to get it done with. whadaya think?
