Put on by a local drama group which was great. Some excellent singers and dancers plus clever sets.

Stopped in at a new consignment shop too. Unfortunately, it was mostly worn out clothing. 4 years ago

2 new restaurants (one chain, one family-owned), and a museum I’ve visited before but which has been revamped. 5 years ago

That means I went to three new places in 2007. Not bad. I’m going to try for 5 next year too. 5 years ago

But I put a visit to a local museum and to the arboretum on next year’s calendar. I need to double check the museum’s hours to be sure they are open on Mondays. And of course, the trip to the arboretum is dependent on good weather and may have to be rescheduled. But at least it’s on the calendar which makes it more likely to happen. 5 years ago

I suppose it’s not surprising that I hit the restaurants first since I love cooking and food. The one restaurant is family-owned and they did a great job with the decor.

I realized the other place I need to get to is the arboretum. (Now there’s a tricky word to spell.) Now (spring) would be a good time and so would fall. 6 years ago

like the civil war museum. I’m not too interested in the civil war, but I’ve heard they do a good job for a small place. There’s a quilt festival I’ve not been to either. I’m not sure what month it is offered but the phone book has a list of the festivals. I need to pull it out and get them on my calendar. As well there are a couple of new restaurants in town that I haven’t tried. Anything that gets me out of the rut of work, school, and errands is worthwhile. 6 years ago
