i recently broke my elbow… so i am about a month behind on doing things i had planned to do and FINISH!!! and its really hampering me being able to settle into my new house… like putting my bed together. as the pieces i am working on are key to my bed. its about my bed.
theme: monster(s) who lives under my bed… it is also kinda dedicated to my cat who i call Monster, and that is his favorite place to lay in ambush for unsuspecting ankles that dangle over the edge of the bed… he LOVES to terrorize especially at night when you get up to go to the bathroom. it is a heart pounding rush, i think everyone should experience.

I am really good at starting things, and rotten at finishing them. I have a whole pile of projects to finish, and a few I’ve bought the “parts” for and never even started. I have to finish:
*Painted Wooden ABC Blocks
*Cross Stitch Christmas Stocking (super close to being done)
*Wooden Sleigh & Reindeer
*Quilt
*Crocheted Afghan
*Crocheted Scarf
*Crocheted Washcloth (for practice mainly)
*Stuffed Elephant
*Stuffed Bunny
*Felt Ornaments
*Apron
*Skirt (have to change the size now – 3 sizes smaller!)
I’m sure there’s more. I just haven’t remembered them yet.

Both afghans were given, and they loved them! I’m so glad! It feels weird looking at my stash area, and they’re not there, lol! I’d been working on them since August, and it’s October and they’re finally done! Whew! I wonder what I’ll be working on next, haha!

Ok! The baby afghan was finished at some point last week and looks SOOOOOOO cute! The big afghan is pretty much done! All I have to do is weave in the ends, which I’ll do today, and VOILA, I’m finished! Woo hoo!
So that will leave my 2 scrap afghans, which I use with all my leftover yarn, which I now have plenty of! I love the scrap afghans because when I look at it, I can say that I used that yarn for that hat, or that yarn for that sweater, etc.
But finally, I’m almost done!

The baby afghan is coming along, finally. The larger afghan is over half done. I worked on the baby afghan for TWO hours straight last night, til my hands were cramped up. I worked on the bigger afghan for 20 minutes today. Ugh….I’m gonna have to work on it if I ever wanna finish it. It’s October already. I should have these done by Friday! I HAVE TO! lol

I’ve finished many craft projects, but, there were some that didn’t deserve finishing or led to other better projects. Either way there is something to be learned about yourself.

I misread the pattern. So it’s gonna take another week. Ooops. I still have 2 weeks to finish the baby blanket. It’s coming along. Sigh

Sigh
I’m working on 2 afghans at the same time. The large afghan, plus I started on the baby afghan! I try to do as much as I can! I need to have the large afghan completed in less than 2 weeks!!!! I have no idea how I’m gonna do it, but I’m certainly gonna try, lol!

So now a friend wants me to crochet her an afghan…..Hmmmm, I already have 3 going…..what’s a girl to do? So maybe I can put off the scrap afghans for now, try to complete the big afghan and maybe start another one? Heehee. I have no idea what I’ll do, but I kinda like working on the scrap afghans. But I gotta finish the big one if I wanna get to the scrap threads, lol!

I’ve been a bad girl. I haven’t worked on my afghans since I’ve been learning to knit. I know, I know, but I’m gonna work on them today. Plus, I was busy throughout the weekend…but I’m gonna work on ‘em, I promise, lol!
