Some-one needs to either revive the Sydmob site which was awesome but seems to have ended about a yr ago or arrange it through facebook.
I’m well up for this. Whose in charge of it all though!

Did anything happen on Saturday? I checked the yahoo website on the Friday and there was nothing doing…. Then I had a seminar on Saturday- did this end up happening?

I won’t be in the country for this flash mob! But, make sure there are lots of photos and I’m definately in for the next one.

Hello everyone! I’m not sure, but I think that at the moment, only 10 people have joined the yahoo group set up for the flashmob. It seems that at the moment, we’re going to be having a pillow fight for the flashmob, which is late this month. Everyone, join the group, make sure you know what’s going on, and get your friends to join. Thank you!

Welcome, All!
For those of you who are also on 43T (www.43things.com) you will know that this goal has been lurking around for long enough. It’s time to be stripped from my list!! (Because if I don’t do this .. then i’m going to have to quit smoking.)
I set this group up to allow us to communicate more freely, and to separate us from those who are serious about completing the goal .. and those who are serious about the idea of it. I have seen some hilarious footage and photos online of Flashmob groups internationally, and on this particular goal in 43T there have been some great ideas bounced around. The only hindrance over the last three months has been structure. So .. here we go.
The Flashmob is planned for Saturday afternoon 28th July 2007 in Sydney CBD. Two months is plenty of time to check 43T, find my post, join this group and get time off work/reschedule your study group or standing nail appointment/get your ass off the couch.
When joining this group, you will need to VOTE IN THE POLL. These are a series of ideas picked out of posts on 43T.
=Wednesday 27th June 2007=
The POLL will be closed. The results of the poll will be emailled to every member of the group.
=Wednesday 4th June=
Every member will by now have been notified by email which activity we will be proceeding with, and any items that you will need to bring along ie. Pillow, MP3 player -any file that you may need to download etc.
=4th June-26th July=
Over the three weeks that follow, all feedback will be welcomed on how many random people you have been able to gather and can commit to attending.
=Thursday 26th July 2007=
The location will be released via email tonight. You will be provided with the time and location (obviously somewhere central and near public transport) you will need to be at on Saturday in order to pick up your Flashmob Instructions.
